"What's taking them so long?"

This was taken on one of the streets in Pilani, Rajasthan. It was about 6 in the evening, the sun was low and I was walking down the street looking for an interesting composition. Then this kid who was trudging down the street, books in hand, suddenly turned back to look at his friends, who had fallen behind... That was it, what Cartier-Bresson calls "The Decisive Moment", the instant which made the picture something meaningful instead of just another shot.

Camera - Nikon F2, lens - 50mm/1.4, film - Orwo NP22.
